| Lacey Computer Co. has been selling and servicing computers in Seminole, Pinellas County, Since 1984. Our store has been at this same location since 1985. It is right next to the Tai Chi Center and the Shoe Repair, in the long shopping strip on the west side of Seminole Blvd. south of the AAA building. Just stop by between 10 and 6 weekdays or 10 to 5 on Saturdays. |
| About half of what we do is remove viruses, recover data, and repair operating systems, XP, Vista, Windows 7, and even MS DOS. We also replace system boards, hard drives, video cards, and trade out used XP computers, starting at $150, so you can get something better and still keep XP. Many of our customers still prefer the tried and true XP. Of course, we also sell state-of the art Windows 7 Systems, with i7, i5, i3 or AMD processors, your preference. We build custom systems. |
| We also do laptop repairs, such as changing broken screens, batteries, power supplies, upgrade RAM, or moving from 32 to 64 bit OS, or upgrading to a completely new system, keeping your data. As technology changes rapidly, it is usually more cost effective to upgrade to a new laptop when the MB goes. |
| We also have a lot of old parts and cables, in case you are looking for something unusual. |
| We also clean the dust out your computer and provide off site backup storage, imaging the whole hard drive, so our frequent customers never lose all their data in case of hard drive failure or catastrophic virus infection. We also provide inexpensive external hard drives for backup so you can do backups at home or in your business. |
